Job summary

Embassy Suites Tucson Paloma Village is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep guest rooms and facilities running smoothly. You will perform daily inspections, routine repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems throughout multiple hotel sites.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred.
• A trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
• Valid driver''s license required, with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Floating Position: Work at different sites with variable hours. Must have open availability. Days, nights, weekends, and holidays availability is required.
• Technical & Preventive Maintenance Powerhouse: Perform daily inspections, repairs, and fine‑tuning of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other systems. Conduct preventive maintenance in guest rooms, common spaces, and on essential equipment. Handle minor carpentry, painting, and furniture repairs to maintain a beautiful environment.
• Quick‑Fix Hero: Resolve equipment hiccups, leaks, and electrical issues. Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms and power outages, prioritizing guest safety.
• Safety Superpowers: Lift objects over 50 lbs., use ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks safely. Follow OSHA guidelines, keep work areas clean, and store tools and hazardous materials properly.

Compensation

$15.15 - $22 DOE
