Job summary

Suburban Studios Triadelphia - Wheeling at The Highlands is seeking an energetic maintenance engineer to keep our property running smoothly and safely. You’ll oversee building maintenance and preventative programs while delivering excellent guest experiences.

The role requires 2–4 years in maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to use facilities software. You’ll work with hotel staff, follow safety norms, and respond to after-hours emergencies to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to use web-based facilities maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Use hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other tools to perform maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to complete maintenance work.
• Adhere to engineering safety norms and procedures.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Address issues quickly to ensure guest satisfaction.

Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. The ideal candidate for this position will be an outstanding communicator, a team player, and, above all, someone who enjoys engaging with new people.

• Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
• Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
• Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours
• Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
• Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
• Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary
• This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

$15 - $16 hourly
