Job summary

EY seeks a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead UI/UX across mobile, web, and tablet platforms, and to guide delivery through agile processes. You’ll engage external clients, define requirements, and drive solutions that align with business needs.

You will mentor teams, design APIs and microservices, and apply AI/ML insights to improve platforms, while ensuring quality and risk management in a hybrid client-facing role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective management and delivery of processes, solutions, and projects.
• Engage regularly with external clients and lead workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
• Develop and deliver UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members to ensure task completion.
