Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to deliver innovative UI/UX across platforms. You will translate business needs into technically sound designs, write clean code, and create specs that support business goals. Regular client travel may be required as part of an agile delivery team.

Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API/microservice design is essential, with strong emphasis on AI, data visualization, and modern cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Experience with authentication/authorization using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience with dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience with complex codebases and frontend performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs.
• Design and develop user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that align with business objectives.
• Travel may be required to meet with clients and engage with stakeholders.
