Pendleton Woolen Mills (retail) in Washougal, WA is seeking a General Maintenance technician to support mill operations by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep. The role ensures safe, efficient, and continuous production in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include plumbing and carpentry, grounds maintenance, operating light machinery, HVAC filter changes, basic wastewater system tasks, and routine inspections.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repairs experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing fixtures, doors, carpentry).
• Maintain mill grounds and perform lawn care and debris removal.
• Operate and maintain light machinery and equipment (mowers, tractors).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (HVAC filters, cleaning).
• Assist with wastewater treatment system operation and maintenance.
• Conduct inspections and report safety concerns.
• Maintain maintenance, inspection, and testing records.
• Assist with janitorial duties and facility cleanliness.
• Perform painting and minor improvements as needed.
• Support mill operations and respond to maintenance needs promptly.
