Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills is seeking a Millwright to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery across the Washougal facility. You will perform advanced mechanical work, including welding, fabrication, machining, and rigging, and collaborate with electricians and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires reading blueprints and specs, operating cranes and forklifts, and following strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Advanced mechanical aptitude and demonstrated experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Experience with metal fabrication, machining, and the use of machine and maintenance tools.
• Experience with stick, TIG, and MIG welding and the ability to perform high-quality steel and metal welding.
• Experience with acetylene and plasma cutting.

Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle, move, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to plans and specs.
• Perform welding and fabrication including acetylene, plasma cutting, TIG and MIG welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as required.
