Anduril Industries in Rhode Island is seeking an electrical engineer for a manufacturing test role on the Dive-XL AUV program. You will run dry and wet FATs on the floor and in the test tank, troubleshoot electrical and software problems, and help set up a new production line at Quonset Point.

You will become the SME for the vehicle’s electrical systems, automate tests with Python and AI tools, and collaborate with technicians and global product teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in designing tests for electromechanical hardware in manufacturing.
• Hardware testing and automated test systems.
• Programming in Python, MATLAB, or shell.
• Experience with USB, Ethernet, CAN and other protocols.
• Bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs and programmable power supplies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing test limits and common failure modes.
• Experience with full system tests on fast product development timelines.
• Prototyping and running tests end-to-end.
• Eligible for an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

• Collaborate with Dive-XL electrical/software engineers and global teams.
• Automate FAT steps and ensure consistent results.
• Train technicians to run FAT procedures.
• Write troubleshooting runbooks with clear steps.
• Use Python/AI tools to automate sequences and dashboards.
• Coordinate with Sydney team to align test suites.
