Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a manufacturing test engineer to drive full-vehicle dry FAT and wet FAT testing of the Dive-XL platform at the Quonset Point campus in Rhode Island. You will lead electromechanical testing, troubleshoot on the floor with technicians, and establish test processes from scratch as the line goes live.

You will own test plans, author runbooks, and leverage Python/AI tools to automate sequences and build dashboards that track yield and pass/fail trends across the line.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on test and troubleshooting experience with electromechanical systems.
• Ability to set up new production line processes with autonomy.
• Relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities

• Run full-vehicle dry FAT and wet FAT in the test tank.
• Become SME on mechanical and electromechanical checks.
• Own in-water checks and ensure readiness for delivery.
• Decide which tests add value and optimize test time.
• Triage failures and route to correct owner.
• Troubleshoot failures hands-on and lead root-cause analysis.
• Design and maintain test equipment, rigs and fixtures.
• Keep FAT procedures aligned with design changes and train technicians.
• Write troubleshooting runbooks with symptoms and fixes.
• Use Python and AI coding tools to automate test sequences and build dashboards.
