Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related industry experience.
• Associate degree in an appropriate discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal instruction and lead Welding Technology courses using learner-centered pedagogy.
• Update curriculum, resources, and materials to industry standards and practices.
• Specify, select, operate, and maintain equipment within budget constraints.
• Ensure program equipment stays current and on trend with the industry.
• Prepare course syllabi and lesson plans addressing required competencies.
• Assist in student job placement and program recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate on textbook selection and educational resources.
• Participate in program assessment, reviews, and advisory board activities.
• Ensure safety practices and participate in regular professional development.
• Support department budget processes and committee work.
