Qualifications

• Three years of related industry experience.
• Associate degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and teaching experience.
• Learner-centered pedagogy and student engagement

Responsibilities

• Provide formal instruction and leadership in the Automation Engineer Technology program using learner-centered pedagogy.
• Ensure curriculum, resources, and materials are updated with industry standards and practices.
• Specify, select, operate, and maintain equipment and/or training modules required to support the course(s) taught.
• Maintain and update course syllabi addressing targeted student abilities, competencies, and assessment methods.
• Prepare course lesson plans utilizing approved program syllabi.
• Help recruit and market the program to potential students.
• Complete assessment activities per guidelines and participate in program review.
• Maintain advisory board meetings twice per year and assist in student job placement.
