Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Zone Lead (FT) to support visual merchandising across designated zones, uphold company standards, and drive sales through compelling displays and in-store promotions.

The Zone Lead reports to the Assistant Store Manager and helps teammates learn visual priorities and standards. This role requires physical ability to lift and move merchandise in a warehouse-format store, and demands open availability for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times. The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Supports visual merchandising processes by planning and leading transitions, product changes, and resets.
• Supports Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly workload and assigned tasks as delegated by the Assistant Store Manager.
• Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions.
• Processes freight sorts, stocks product in designated areas, including down stocking and end cap maintenance.
• Supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention and customer experience.
• Participates in regular meetings/huddles with team members on these subjects.
• Serves as a role model and coach in all areas related to visual merchandising.
• Learns and teaches visual priorities and creation of visual moments that support the customer experience.
• Reviews the store’s financials from the scorecard and acts within zones to improve metrics.
• Maintains a neat, clean, organized zone with up-to-date signing and sets.
• All other duties assigned based on business needs.
