Position Summary

The VP, Sales is responsible for leading PDG’s new client acquisition and revenue generation within our target industry vertical, primarily US-based and international life sciences companies. This includes developing client identification and penetration strategies and collaborating with senior sales leaders within client organizations to effectively position PDG’s sales performance services.

The VP, Sales will establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, working closely with PDG's leadership and client services teams to ensure a successful sales process. Responsibilities include developing and managing key accounts, creating sales presentations, building client relationships, developing proposals, and setting sales targets and strategies aligned with PDG’s goals.

The ideal candidate has experience consulting on sales performance in the life sciences industry, is solution-oriented, driven, resilient, and capable of leading and coaching teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture client relationships, consulting at all levels to align workforce capability with corporate strategy, and bring innovation and thought leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of PDG’s solutions, industry trends, and market insights.
  • Create strategic account plans and business proposals that demonstrate PDG’s value.
  • Determine appropriate pricing based on profitability and client financials.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract signing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and profit targets.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial life sciences consulting, supporting brand performance, launches, customer engagement, or cultural transformation.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of performance metrics.
  • Experience working with C-Level executives.
  • Excellent client management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • National sales and leadership experience in Life Sciences preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably HubSpot.
