Job summary

Maria Parham Health is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform peripheral vascular, venous reflux, and carotid imaging. You will enter exam data into CPACS and PACS systems, ensuring complete, accurate studies and preparing exams for interpretation.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI certification or hire-date eligibility, BLS, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will contribute to safety goals and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalency required.
• CAAHEP approved ultrasound or cardiovascular tech program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs peripheral vascular, venous reflux, and carotid imaging per lab protocols.
• Reviews inpatient requisitions and prioritizes patient lists by severity and procedure availability.
• Performs quality control checks on equipment and processes.
• Manages supplies, storage, and routing for room operation.
• Mentors ultrasound students as required.
