Job summary

Overlook Medical Center is seeking a Registered Vascular Sonographer to perform high-quality vascular exams using IAC-accredited protocols, including LE, UE venous, carotid and PVR. You will ensure patient safety, comfort and education while collaborating with physicians to improve diagnostic accuracy.

Requirements include ARDMS/CCI certification, RVT/RVS, and at least one year of experience. Epic and Change Healthcare software familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited CVT program with vascular focus (CAAHEP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vascular exams.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms per infection control standards.
• Participate in lab quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions.
• Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
