Job summary

Porters Neck Village in Wilmington, NC is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver to transport residents to grocery store, outings and trips. Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, some nights and weekends; pay is $17.50 per hour.

You will assist residents, help on/off vehicles, perform light housekeeping, and help maintain a safe, welcoming community. Eligible applicants must have a NC CDL with Passenger endorsement and a clean driving record, and at least six months experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid North Carolina CDL with Passenger endorsement and a good driving record.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assists residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team!
