Job summary

Wyndemere is seeking a hospitality-focused Bus Driver to transport residents to grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips. The role includes assisting residents on/off vehicles, loading items, and coordinating equipment while maintaining daily vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and a CDL with Passenger Endorsement is strongly preferred. A minimum of six months driving experience is required; full-time daytime shifts with occasional evenings or weekends

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.

• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.

Wyndemere is recruiting for a hospitality focused Bus Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing cleaning and maintenance duties as required.

Compensation: $19-21 per hour based on experience

• Medical/Vision/Dental Insurance within 30 days of hire
• 18 days per year PTO
• 5 guaranteed sick days

Shifts: Full-time, Monday-Friday, daytime shift: occasional evenings/weekends as needed

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs;
• Help with assisting residents on and off bus/van, with or without a wheelchair lift, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.

May perform housekeeping functions as directed.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current CDL with Passenger Endorsement strongly preferred

Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
