Job summary

Rose Senior Living Carmel is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver to transport residents to grocery store, outings, and extended trips as scheduled. You will assist residents on and off the vehicle and may perform light housekeeping duties as needed.

Minimum six months’ experience as a bus/van driver is required, with a focus on courteous, safe service and resident well-being. This role supports a team-driven environment and resident enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist residents on and off bus/van and coordinate equipment as needed.
• Load groceries and other items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Support a culture that drives occupancy and revenue.

ENTER COMMUNITY NAME HERE is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
