First Mid Bank & Trust in O’Fallon, MO is seeking a Full Time Universal Banker/Teller I. You will welcome customers, process transactions, and assist with account openings, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policy.

This role includes opportunities to promote banking products, participate in community events, and pursue professional development within the Total Rewards framework. Prior cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in customer service and cash handling in a financial setting preferred.
• Successful completion of required training; advancement at management discretion.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, including greeting customers and making them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Proficiently service customers by accepting and processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines including deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, cashier's checks, and other transactions on request.
• Gain manager assistance with any suspicious transactions.
• Open accounts including but not limited to checking, savings, safe deposit box, basic business-related accounts, etc.
• Performs changes to existing accounts as requested by the customer.
• Maintains cash drawer by balancing daily; assist with branch operations.
• Promotes bank products and services to customers and cross-sell where appropriate.
