Allied Universal, Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Tablet Patrol to safeguard patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting. You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional service.

This role offers steady day shifts, a $13.24 hourly pay, training opportunities, and benefits through Allied Universal. Prior customer service or badge access experience is helpful; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening and directions.
• Document incidents and patrols and report concerns to site leadership.
