Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Birmingham, AL. You will provide security services in a healthcare location, maintain a visible presence, and assist visitors, patients, and staff with customer service.

Position is part-time with day and night shifts. Pay rate is $11.90 per hour. You will use computers/tablets to document activities and communicate with the team as part of a collaborative, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and reporting of unauthorized access.
