Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol operations in Seattle, WA. You will guard clients across industries, maintain a visible presence, assist with access control, and document observations using on-site technology.

Responsibilities include patrolling residential and common areas, deterring incidents, and responding to security concerns. The role emphasizes customer service and clear communication in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access-control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document security-related activity per site procedures.
