Job summary

Allied Universal's Burlington location is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Care Patrol to protect clients across industries, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will patrol designated areas, respond to alarms, monitor access, and communicate with site personnel while upholding Allied Universal’s standards of care, teamwork, and integrity on every shift.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed.
• Document patrol observations and security-related concerns accurately and promptly.
