Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements, reporting incidents and policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions through required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
