Job summary

PURIS Corporation, LLC in Pasadena, TX is seeking an Operator/Excavator for civil, wet utilities projects. The role supports trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation, performing daily field activities safely and efficiently under the Operations Manager.

You will fuel and service vehicles, set up equipment, assist with liner installation, recognize hazards, and follow procedures. CDL preferred; company paid benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects with minimal supervision.
• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments and assists mechanic in repairs on assigned equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed
• Repairs Manholes
• Fuses Pipe
• Sets up winches and connects hoses
• Assists with install of liner, operates inverter, cut liner
• Restoration and clean up
• Connects services
• Sets up equipment
• Utilizes all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned
