Job summary

PURIS Corp is seeking an Operator/Excavator to perform trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe, efficient manner under the direction of the Operations Manager in Pasadena, TX.

The role requires CDL (preferred) and strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions on projects with minimal supervision. You will manage equipment, assist with repairs, and support installation crews on water, sewer and stormwater projects.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator will conduct all the daily activities associated with Trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner.
• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments and assists mechanic in performing repairs on assigned equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed
• Repairs Manholes
• Fuses Pipe
• Sets up winches and connect hoses
• Assists with install of liner, operates inverter, cut liner
• Restoration and clean up
• Connects services
• Sets up equipment
• Utilizes all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned
