Job summary

PURIS is seeking an Operator to perform trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation under the supervision of the Operations Manager. This role emphasizes safety, precise execution, and on-site collaboration with mechanics and crew members.

The Operator will handle vehicle fueling, equipment setup, liner installation support, and restoration tasks while ensuring compliance with procedures. CDL is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with team and supervisors on site.
• Precise, reliable and capable of following detailed instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving on field projects.
• Solid understanding of standard trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Ability to work in extreme work environments and confined spaces, with good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical work; assists mechanic with repairs on equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks.
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed.
• Chips and repairs manholes; fuses pipe.
• Sets up winches and connects hoses.
• Assists with liner installation; operates inverter; cuts liner.
• Performs restoration and clean up after projects.
• Connects services and sets up equipment; loads equipment.
• Uses safety equipment and follows standard operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
