Job summary

PURIS seeks an Operator to perform trenchless pipe rehabilitation tasks under the direction of the Operations Manager. You will conduct daily activities safely and efficiently, operating and assisting with installation equipment on site in Texas.

You’ll support crew members, handle equipment setup, and coordinate with residents as needed to minimize disruption. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficiency in responsibilities and communicate effectively.
• Accurate, reliable, and able to follow orders with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in extreme environments and confined spaces.
• Solid understanding of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fuel vehicles and assist with repairs on assigned equipment.
• Set up trench jacks and load equipment.
• Distribute notices to residents and businesses.
• Chip and repair manholes; set up winches and hoses.
• Assist with liner installation; operate inverter and cut liner.
• Ensure safety and follow standard operating procedures; perform restoration and cleanup.
• Load equipment and connect services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator will conduct all the daily activities associated with Trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments and assists mechanic in performing repairs on assigned equipment.
• Sets up trench jacks
• Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed
• Chips Manholes
• Repairs Manholes
• Fuses Pipe
• Sets up winches and connect hoses
• Assists with install of liner, operates inverter, cut liner
• Restoration and clean up
• Connects services
• Sets up equipment
• Loads equipment
• Utilizes all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Experience And Qualifications

• Incumbent must possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities. Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces. Position requires fit physical condition.
