Job summary

Bronson Healthcare Group is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to provide essential support across Kalamazoo, Portage, Battle Creek, and surrounding locations. You will take vital signs, assist clinicians, and manage patient records in a fast-paced practice environment.

The role requires completion of an accredited MA program or CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, BLS within 90 days, and strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and confidentiality. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited medical assistant program or CMA/CCMA/RMA certification.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Knowledge of clinical skills and patient safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and ability to protect patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations with history, vital signs, and routine testing.
• Administer treatments and collect specimens as directed by physician.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate tests and referrals.
• Schedule tests, manage charting, and document in EMR.
