Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Practice Clinical Assistant Float to support multiple Kalamazoo-area practices. You will travel between locations, assist providers, prepare patients, and manage workflow in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include data entry in EMR, room setup for procedures, and coordinating tests and referrals with staff. The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and teamwork in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, doctors and staff.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits, including histories, vital signs and routine testing.
• Input data into patient charts and EMR from questionnaires.
• Set up exam rooms and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate admissions and referrals, and scheduling of tests.
• Assist patients with check-in/check-out and appointment confirmations.
• Maintain documentation standards and assist with chart reviews.
