First Community Bank of Galena, a branch of Apple River State Bank, is hiring a Full-Time Teller in Galena, IL. The position offers onsite work with hours Monday to Friday from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays 7:15 AM to 12:15 PM, starting at $15 per hour with potential for higher pay based on experience.

As a teller you will handle transactions, deposits, withdrawals and check cashing, while delivering exceptional customer service and assisting clients with account information and bank services

Day to day as a Full-Time Teller

As a new Full-Time Teller at First Community Bank of Galena, you can expect a variety of daily tasks that keep you engaged and customer-focused. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions, handling deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, as well as addressing customer inquiries with professionalism and care. You’ll also assist clients in navigating their accounts and providing information about bank services. Your schedule will be structured with hours from Monday to Friday, ranging from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM, ensuring ample time for personal commitments after work. On Saturdays, your hours would range from 7:15 AM to 12:15 PM.
