Job summary

ALDI is hiring a Store Associate in Weaverville, NC to help with merchandising, stocking, cashiering and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You will collaborate with the ALDI team and provide exceptional customer service.

Typical hours are 30+ per week with a starting wage of $19 per hour and planned increases over five years. The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to operate POS and store equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• At least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and to perform general cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock products, cashier and clean to keep the store looking its best.
• Operate POS to process purchases and handle checkout with accuracy.
• Assist management in achieving loss prevention and efficiency goals.
• Support curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Follow safety, cleaning, and inventory procedures.
