Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness to enhance the customer shopping experience. The role requires supporting the ALDI team and delivering exceptional service in a full-time position.

Starting wage is $18.50 per hour with wage increases planned: Year 2 $19.00, Year 3 $19.50, Year 4 $19.50, Year 5 $20.50. Typical full-time hours are 30+ per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases and report errors.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficiency.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals and loss reduction.
• Complies with all company policies and processes.
• Supports a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
