Job Title: Store Associate

As a Store Associate, you'll be responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You'll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the team and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation, demonstrating the company's core mindsets and competencies.
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Uphold company policies, and ensure security and confidentiality of data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform tasks at various heights.
• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk within the store.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service.
• Operate cash registers accurately.
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• Perform cleaning to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol, if applicable.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred; equivalent knowledge through education and experience acceptable.
