As a Store Associate, you’ll be responsible for merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Wage Progression:

Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI core competencies and professional skills.
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, stock shelves and merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform store duties requiring sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate cash register accurately.
• Operate equipment safely, including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Perform cleaning to company standards.
• Interpret and apply policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable.
