Job summary

Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You will assist with personal care, comfort, safety, and daily living activities for residents in Birchaven Village according to established policies.

Responsibilities include observing resident changes, communicating needs to the nursing team, restocking supplies, and upholding the organization’s mission and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Active State Tested Nurse Aide registry in Ohio.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care per residents' needs.
• Understanding aging concepts and ability to assess resident status.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and prepare rooms as directed by nursing staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge to care for residents and report changes.
• Restock supplies and ensure daily resident care needs are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate service excellence and align with mission and resident rights.
• Comply with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
