Job summary

Barberton-Post-Acute is seeking a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to care plans. You will greet residents, escort them, and assist with daily activities while maintaining a warm, safe environment.

You will document accurately, report changes to supervision promptly, and protect resident confidentiality. CPR is preferred and a 10th grade education minimum is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general regulations and procedures.
• Ability to write reports and provide clear information to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident care plans.
• Identify residents before procedures using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility needs, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and protect health records.
