Job summary

Westerville in is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in alignment with each resident's plan. You will document care, communicate changes to supervisors, and participate in handoffs.

Requirements include a CNA license with CPR preferred, ability to read and follow care plans, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to residents in our facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Greet residents and escort them to their room and introduce them to roommates.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report incidents.
