Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Helping residents with meals and documenting food and fluid intake.
• Assisting with transfers, repositioning, walking, and mobility.
• Answering call lights promptly and responding to residents’ needs.
• Taking and documenting vital signs as directed.
• Reporting changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
• Following residents’ care plans and facility policies.
• Working cooperatively with nurses and other members of the care team.
