Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand each student’s needs and conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations.
• Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel through clear communication.
• Collaborate with ARD committees to develop targeted, evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in implementing IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records and use student data to guide adjustments to interventions.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and team discussions to support student needs.
