Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to help students develop communication skills and participate more fully in school.

You will conduct evaluations, share results with parents and district staff, create evidence-based interventions, and deliver therapy or supervise SLPAs. A master’s degree, Texas license, and CCC-SLP are required, with bilingual skills preferred.

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required or preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred, but not required.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll help students build communication skills that support learning, relationships, and everyday participation. You will:

• Understand each student’s needs. Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify needs for specialized therapy services.

• Make findings meaningful. Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel through clear, compassionate communication.

• Create purposeful interventions. Collaborate with ARD committees to develop targeted, evidence-based interventions that support student performance, participation, and access to education.

• Support progress through therapy. Deliver direct speech-language therapy or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in implementing students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

• Track progress and adapt. Maintain accurate, detailed records and use student data to guide adjustments to interventions.

• Advocate and collaborate. Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and team discussions to support students’ needs and special education programs.

What You’ll Bring

• A master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

• An active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.

• An ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).

• Bilingual skills are preferred, but not required.
