Job summary
Zen Educate Inc. is seeking Para Educators to support students with special needs in Glendale, AZ. This full-time role partners with licensed staff to implement IEP goals, maintain a productive classroom, and work with individuals or small groups to promote engagement and growth.
Qualified candidates have 60+ credits or an Associate’s degree, a passing ADE/ParaPro exam, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. US work authorization is required; sponsorship is not provided.
Qualifications
- 60 credits or an Associate's degree, with passing ADE/ParaPro exam
- 1+ year experience working with children
- Experience with children with special educational needs
- Experience with personal care
- IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in English
- US Work Authorization - no visa sponsorship provided
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed staff in the classroom
- Aid students with IEP goals
- Maintain a learning-friendly environment
- Work with individuals or small groups on activities
- Provide support for students in crisis
- Assist with outings by driving students to community venues
