Job summary

Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Customer Service. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to students, staff, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

The role requires teamwork, integrity, and clear communication with campus personnel. You will respond to incidents, prepare concise reports, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence on site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per procedures and report unauthorized access.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with school personnel and leadership.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain professional communication.
