Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol at a government education location in Ashburn, VA. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

In this role, you will be responsible for routine patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting observations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and others by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular/uniform patrols of the premises and monitor access points.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following established protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
• Document observations and communicate information to school personnel and leadership.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment.
