Ephrata Area School District is seeking full-time 2nd shift Custodians to join the Custodial team. The department maintains a clean and healthy environment for students and staff, assisting with events and daily operations.

Position requires flexibility, seasonal changes, and a commitment to safety and security. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally, and readiness for after-hours work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach overhead occasionally.
• Lift up to 80 pounds occasionally; up to 10 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus buildings in a neat, clean, and orderly condition: classrooms, shop areas, hallways, offices, gymnasiums, restrooms, and locker rooms; empty waste baskets and handle trash/recyclables.
• Perform minor maintenance and assist in setups for meetings/events; unlock/lock buildings; assist with snow removal as needed.
