Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs recurring tasks under direct supervision in accordance with established practices and cleaning schedules.
• Changes in work methods or procedures are indicated by a supervisor and work is reviewed for cleanliness.
• Performs heavier work such as stripping, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and spray buffing in school buildings.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Washes windows, vacuums carpets, cleans light fixtures, and cleans restrooms.
• Replenishes tissues, towels, and soap; replaces bulbs; empties waste receptacles.
• Maintains cleanliness and reports damages or repairs to supervisor.
• Cleans sidewalks and grounds; grass cutting and edging duties as assigned.
• Attends training and seminars to increase efficiency and skills.
• Obtains and maintains CDL bus license and operates bus when required.
