Job summary

Liberty Education Solutions is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support students in school-based settings. The PCA will provide individualized support to help students stay safe, engaged, and successful throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include one-on-one support, assisting with academic and personal needs, and following student plans while collaborating with teachers and staff to maintain a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Experience in a school, childcare, special education, behavioral health, or caregiving environment is a plus.
• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to assigned students throughout the school day.
• Assist students with academic, behavioral, social, and personal needs as appropriate.
• Help students safely participate in classroom activities and daily routines.
• Follow individualized student plans and directions provided by teachers and related-service professionals.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff.
• Encourage positive behavior, independence, and student engagement.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and parents/guardians when appropriate.
• Follow all school, MCIU, and Liberty Education Solutions policies and procedures.
