The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a School-Based Mental Health Provider (ERMHS) in California for middle and high school students. This full-time, on-site role supports students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs through individual and group counseling, with about 120 minutes of direct service weekly.

You’ll collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school teams, develop treatment plans using trauma-informed approaches, and ensure FERPA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Active California license or credential: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PPS credential.
• Experience providing mental health services in a California school setting.
• Availability Monday-Friday, full-time.
• Ability to complete required state clearances and background checks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Provide ERMHS to students, including individual and group counseling as assigned.
• Support middle and high school students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Deliver about 120 minutes of direct service per week.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school teams to support student success.
• Develop and carry out treatment and support plans using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
• Respond to student concerns and coordinate with the school team on safety and next steps.
