Job summary

ISO Workforce Alliance is hiring a School-Based Mental Health Clinician (ERMHS) to join a supportive school team in Sonora, California. You’ll provide counseling and mental health support to students to help them succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.

The role includes individual and small-group counseling, collaboration with teachers, families, school psychologists, and Special Education teams, and participation in IEP and student-support meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage & family therapy, or related field.
• California LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LEP, or other district-approved qualification.
• Interest in working with children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and mental health support to students who need help succeeding socially, emotionally, and academically.
• Individual and small-group counseling.
• Supporting students with IEP-based mental health goals.
• Collaborating with teachers, families, school psychologists, and Special Education teams.
• Participating in IEP and student-support meetings.
• Helping students develop coping, emotional regulation, and behavioral skills.
• Completing progress notes and required documentation.
• Providing additional support when a student is struggling or experiencing a crisis.
