Job summary

The Behavioral Health Clinician – Licensed SBHC at Moses Weitzman Health System works inside Bethel Middle School to support students and families, delivering diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based therapy.

As a full-time school-based clinician, you will run multiple therapy groups weekly, coordinate with pediatric and medical teams, ensure timely documentation, crisis response, and adherence to Joint Commission standards and CHC policies.

Qualifications

• Licensure in CT as LCSW/LMFT/LPC or licensed psychologist; eligible for MLSW/PC-A/MFT-A within 3 years.
• Minimum of two years of outpatient experience with children and/or adults.
• Fluency in English; bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial behavioral health evaluations; provide individual, group and family psychotherapy.
• Run at least five groups per week of direct clinical work.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and coordinate with primary care providers.
• Coordinate with psychiatric consultants for diagnostic needs and refer for medication management as needed.
• Complete timely documentation and maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and CHC policies.
