Job summary

Connected Roots Care Center in Omaha, NE is seeking a Level 3 School-Age Paraprofessional to support K–4 students in a structured classroom. You will work with special education teachers and a multidisciplinary team to implement IEP goals and behavior plans, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m. Starting pay is $17.00–$21.00 per hour, with on-site training and CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; childcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with or willingness to complete training such as MANDT and CEU opportunities is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and the student’s team in implementing instructional plans, IEP goals and BIP.
• Collaborate with professionals (BCBA, SLP, OT, PT) to meet quarterly goals.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and assist with administrative tasks like attendance and record-keeping.
• Communicate progress and concerns with the professional team, students and parents.
